Our studio is stocked primarily through in-kind donations from community members. Occasionally, we need to pick up a new bottle of paint or project specific supplies. You can purchase a gift card to Dick Blick or Michaels to dedicate some dollars to our restock fund. Stretch Your Support!
There are lots of ways to make your support go even further! Check out these awesome options:
Match your Donation!
Employer and community giving programs are a fantastic way to grow your contribution! We work with numerous employers in the Twin Cities and beyond to accept matching donations. We highly encourage you to explore what giving programs your employer offers to see how courageous heARTS could benefit!
DONATE MATERIALS + Equipment
Since our inception, heARTS has been a second home for the many well-intentioned, but too often neglected, art supplies from people's closets. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we rarely need to purchase materials for the studio, freeing up valuable resources for our operational and program expenses.

As a nonprofit organization, we can provide a receipt for your in-kind donations, however, due to tax regulations, we are unable to provide a monetary value for your donation.

Supplies can be dropped off during Open Studio hours, or you can make alternative arrangements through our contact form.

What Youth Are Saying

"heARTS isn't a place that teaches you how to paint a watercolor tree. It's a place that gives you the watercolors so you can paint whatever kind of tree you want."                                                                    -Toni

"My favorite part of heARTS is the overall energy and atmosphere! I always get excited when I walk into the space and kind of long for it when I’m not there, especially when I have been away for a long period of time."                                                                    - Larry
