Collaboration is key to our mission and we partner with organizations of all sizes to bring the transformative power of art to the people they serve. We have developed a variety of ways to engage organizations in our studio experience both through 1:1 engagement like our studio pass program, as well as studio rental and private classes for groups.
Ways We Collaborate
Program Pass
Join organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Link who partner with us to bring the power of creative expression to the lives of youth they serve! We welcome organizations who work with people in a 1:1 capacity to incorporate our Open Studio time into their work.
Program passes include 10 visits for two people (such as a youth and mentor or case manager) - at 25% off our regular pricing. We also welcome adult-serving organizations to consider how they could incorporate studio visits into their work!
Passes can be assigned one of two ways:
Passes expire one year after first use. The lead contact on the pass will be notified when visits are running low. Contact us to explore how a program pass could work for you!

Private Group Experiences
We often work with schools, other nonprofits and businesses to provide creative experiences tailored to your group's needs. This can be a private class taught by one of our local teaching artists or a private Open Studio experience outside of our normal hours. Due to the size of our studio and our goals of offering a comfortable and relaxed experience, groups are limited to 15-20 participants. Pricing is based on time and number of participants.
Rent our Studio
Courageous heARTS has created a vibrant, working studio for youth and the whole community. Our space is ideal for theater groups in need of rehearsal space, artists who want to host a class or gathering, and companies looking for a creative meeting space. Our storefront studio has a wall of north facing windows that offer wonderful natural lighting throughout the day. Rentals can include use of supplies for an additional fee.

Community Events or Projects
Community partners often invite us to infuse art into their events. Whether it's a school celebration or a marathon, we try our best to say yes to these opportunities. Additionally, we love to chat about project partnerships that better our community and create new opportunities for youth in the neighborhood. You can contact us to explore partnerships like this in more detail!
Supply Lending/Distribution
Do you need supplies for a short-term program on a limited budget? How about extra scissors for a project? We might be able to help you out! Our community regularly donates a variety of materials and rather than turn those donations away when we've reached our limit, we want to serve as a resource for other organizations in need of some creative materials. Depending on your situation and needs, we offer some of our supplies to borrow or purchase below retail value. Contact us to learn more.
